Recommendations

■ Season: The activity depends on the available snow. Chile Memories confirms conditions 48
hours beforehand and can reschedule without charge if there isn't enough snowfall.
■ Snow Footwear: Boot rental includes all necessary equipment. If you bring your own footwear,
make sure it is waterproof and high-cut.
■ Clothing: Wear layers: thermal base layer, mid-layer fleece, and outer windbreaker. The temperature in
Farellones can be between -5°C and +5°C depending on the day.
■ Photography: The 360° view from Farellones is one of the best postcards of the Andes. Bring
your phone charged — cold weather drains the battery quickly.
■ Wine Tasting: L'Es des Vins is a cult wine bar little known by tourists. The tasting is
guided and contextualized — it is not a generic tasting. It is recommended to arrive without having
previously consumed alcohol to enjoy the nuances.
